Ford Au Appear to be skipping MY23 (the Final Gen6) - Closed Orders on MY23 and current MY22 (from June22) even Before MY23 Production Begins on 30Nov22.
It seems the MY23 will be exclusive to MY22 ROLLOVER Orders Only, and the next orders (when the Order Books re-open) will be on the MY24...
I just compiled a technical comparison chart from some of what info we currently know - for the S650 / MY24 GT (sorry not the Dark Horse)

MY 22 (Gen 3 Coyote)
MY 24 GT (Gen 4 Coyote)

Yes I agree 100% He is Painfully verbose and a narcissistic exhibitionist, and I usually skip him, however the headline got me sucked in on that occasion.
Spot on ! The LCT Threshold should normally increase in line with (6.1% CPI) Inflation, however as you correctly indicate, Leftist Governments are always looking to exploit and gouge Tax opportunities (especially in areas they ideologically dislike - like Cars) - so don't hold your breath !
I allowed a $4K Buffer, however as I stated it does not include ORC (Gov LCT & Stamp Duty / Rego)
LCT is currently an extortionate 33% over the $71,849 Threshold, which includes GST but not Rego & Stamp Duty etc.
Just saw Stangmode on youtube saying an "Insider" assured him Ford have finally sorted and got on top of the Production delay issues which have been plaguing them, and "there will be no more delays"...with the MY24.
He also said there was a strong rumor that the Dark Horse will start in the US...
MY23 Colours and Codes - (note Fighter Jet Gray is Mach-1 only)
Interesting to Note the inclusion of Eruption Green & Mischievous Purple - which had earlier been Deleted, however they seem to be given a second life.

The early Colour sheet deleted MP, however it seems to have a second Life:

Sorry, this Colour Code Pic was taken off the CJPony Parts site, which is usually 100% Accurate.
I normally check, however I was in a mad rush at the time - although the Green and Orange were a bit of an obvious give away that it was incorrect - based on the earlier colour code. However Tthe...

MY23 Colours and Codes (note Fighter Jet Gray is Mach-1 only) Note the inclusion of Eruption Green & Mischievous Purple - both appear to have a second life, as they were deleted from the earlier colour chart. (a US Mischievous Purple MY23 Order was confirmed elsewhere - with a price increase...
Corrected:
MY23 Colours and Codes (note Fighter Jet Gray is Mach-1 only)
Note the inclusion of Eruption Green & Mischievous Purple - which could be an error, as they were deleted from the earlier colour chart.

Hi Guys, Disappointing news for the MY23 Mustang, Ford have announced there are NO UPDATES or Changes on the MY23 over the MY22 - and even worse, they have dropped two colours (although one only applied to the GT500):
"Deleted Colours
— Cyber Orange Metallic Tri-Coat
— Brittany Blue Metallic"...
I'm only speculating on any possible bonuses and performance improvements on the MY23, however as I said Ford will probably want to give the Gen6 / S550 a Send-Off, and will need offer some incentive to the market to buy the MY23 in the shadow of the much improved Gen7 / S650 - rather than wait...
Each MY always gets some distinguishing benefits and/or features, and the 10Hp loss ONLY applied to the US cars (add-on BIDEN "Green" Filters).
However with more development time for the MY23, there is a possibility Ford could tweak performance to recover that performance loss - which would...
