Do you refer to front tri-bars? Same here in Spain, when ordering mine, dealer told me that in EU will not be available by reason of applicable lighting regulations.
I am just doubtful that these may be deemed actually final specifications for EU market. The front bumper lacks the mandatory HID washers and the DRL tri-bar headlamps are switched on in some pics but together with the main road lights, not as day time running lights.
C'mon Ford! Reveal us...
Great job, Mc Lane! These are the same units already seen in Paris, Ford's people just switched the alloys from the convertible to the fastback. Further, if you zoom in the rims in a good quality pic shoot from the vehicle's side (I refer to the deep impact blue EB convertible standing at the...
Be sure I will report punctually on this forum on getting the Pony delivered! About delivery dates, all what I have been told by the dealer is that we may expect the first units to arrive on late June or early July, but this is merely an approach which shall not be confirmed until the specific...
Hello Guys!
I just wanted to pop up by this thread as a proud owner soon of an Ingot Silver euro specs unit. I was told by the dealer that mine is the first one ordered here in Spain. Promise some pics when I get the Pony in my hands! (Expected delivery date: June/July).

Premium pack (in other countries referred as "custom pack": ebony premium leather, 12 speaker sound system, navigation, silver mouldings, air-vent and...
Not at all, there is a specific premium package for Europe named as "European Custom Package", including navigation, shaker -pro audio system, parking sensors, bright moulding onto the doors' edge, etc.
This is the pack which I refer in my previous message above, in the offcial German price...
Frankly speaking, it piss me off that we are not offered the dash central gauges and that the only dash surface availabe (at least apparently) is the aluminum trimmed panel with the three central air-vents.
I made some quick numbers. If base price of an EB manual unit at Germany is 34.000...
Well, rather than meaningless I would regard it merely as a forecast. Which other taxes over new cars apply there (in addition to VAT)?
May be we may figure out the possible difference more precisely.
Let's assume these are the base prices all across Europe (I mean, net of taxes).
Spanish "deal":
-VAT: 21%
-Plate number tax (for this kind of vehicle), somewhere beween 14 %-14.75%.
That means, to get your vehicle on the road in Spain (calculation made for fastbacks only):
GT: €...
Hello Chris, do you mean CHF 60k? Although bloody expensive (quite above the MSRP in the US) I expect that sale price of a loaded 5.0 GT here in Spain wll be somewhere around such figere (€ 50K).
I see the units above are US specs. I still guess if we, "Euro-nerds" who are to pay twice the...
FelixGER, Where did you hear that starting price of a GT is just € 39,000?? PLease, tell us anything! If that's true, I am going to te dealer tomorrow (No!I mean, this afternoon!!)
Yeeess!!!!:ford:
Nor in Spain as well, and the traffic regulations about vehicles visibility and lighting are common all accross EU. The EU requirements are that brakes must be red and turning lights, amber and blinking, that's all. There is not any provision that plastic covers must be clear, red or whatever...
Yep, it's yours...;)
Btw, if you check out the link posted by TopNotch (the greatest contributor to this community, thanks!!) in the Paris 2015 thread, where there are also some interior pics, you may see that we will not have the PP center gauges on the dashboard (in spite that it was said...
May be possible, indeed.
By the way, 5.0 with EB PP wheels...
EB convertible with clear GT PP wheels...
And if they are supposed to be somehow PP units (as it was said that PP was standard for Europe), without dashboard central gauges...
WTF??
:tsk:
