When I took delivery of my car, it already had curb rash. The dealership had their connection to a mobile wheel repair guy that did the work. I would try there before a body shop since all they do is wheels.
I used the guy after I screwed up and scraped up my rims. It was done for less than a...
Since there so few PP2 owners chiming in, I will throw my hat in the ring...
Is the PP2 as fast as an 10 speed auto? No.
Is it hard to drive out in about because of the 305's all around? Yes.
Is it at all a DD? No.
Is it a good start for a track car? Yes.
I don't DD my car, and I haven't...
You are right when it comes to the risk that Ford is taking in using their #1 brand. I also whole-hardheartedly agree that this market in general has been propped up by gov't subsidies.
However, if I did choose to purchase this EV, my use would be for commuting a 120 mi trip daily and plugging...
And that is where I see Ford will have the advantage. Their effort to bring this car to production is not at the expense of borrowing money. Tesla is a house of cards. All I was pointing out is the recognition of ev has been that of Tesla.
Completely understand your viewpoint however I don't think that the executives at Ford are as ignorant to the future trends. Ford is indeed paying attention, heck even consumer reports is reporting that 63% of prospective car buyers have interest in ev. Of those interested, about 1/3 makes...
I completely agree. The price for modernization of outdated equipment just to replace it again for the next big thing combined with a contract that guarantees the supplier to own updates is mind boggling.
The point that I am trying to make is that there is an abundance of situations in which sound financial decision making is not advertised, yet emotional decisions involving money is applauded and encouraged. The national debt and personal school loan debt are prime examples poor financial...
Yes, and the failures continue... the Gov't is spending more than it can afford. The parents of the youngest generation in school bought houses that were more than they can afford and got financially killed when the market crashed. This is their common example.
Today, in their senior year high...
Not to stir the pot... but applying that logic, the GT350 is only an engine/transmission/brake upgrade with a dedicated transmission and rear diff cooler? The chassis is the same with the exception of a different nose. I have been reading here that a PP2 with rear diff cooler, long tube...
I have the same issue that I found on delivery of my 19 PP on the drivers side. It appears that the chips are a result of the spoiler flexing by shutting the trunk using the spoiler. The dealer is going to fix this, and I find it odd that other dealers are giving us such a hard time on a brand...
Finally had the chance to take my car into the dealership. Add another tick mark for a loose oil filter! They did an oil change. Fingers crossed that this is the culprit and not an oil pan seal.
I also agree that you can continue to use the tires in the colder months around here, but respect the fact that your car will be significantly handicapped in handling performance that we all enjoy in the warmer months. Welcome to NC!
My '15 GT PP went in to limp mode and I had no idea why. Shut it down and start it up and all was good... Then limp mode again, grrr! I cycled the start of the car again and gingerly drove the car to the dealership. Both rear wheel hubs were bad and actually caused an error with the traction...
