I have seen the gauges in the vents and I just don't like them. I really was on the fence about doing the performance pack gauges in the dash with the GT350 gauges. Took me about 6 months to decide after a ton of research. I might just get a mechanical liquid filled fuel pressure gauge and get...
I actually chose the Shelby Gauge Pod because I didn't want to mess with cutting up the HVAC for a cleaner install. I only needed to cut the speaker cover in the center and that is a reality easier part to replace and is pretty cheap. I almost did the factory gauge setup. I also spoke with...
Thanks for the advice! I was already looking at the Max cooling kit and a radiator upgrade because I live in Phoenix. Guess I may need to add the pillar gauge pod as I already have the Shelby Gauge Pod to add Oil and Intake temps. I just installed the Fuel Pressure sensor last night after...
Not worried about the money, I don't have a problem there. I am making sure I am able to get things done if there is an issue with the SC or caused by the SC that wasn't foreseen by the engineers. I don't plan on taking the car to the track and running it full out or dragging it. I am much more...
I am planning on adding a Roush SC and if I can extend the warranty past the 36K that would be great! Is your extended warranty through Ford? or a 3rd party? are there are limitations from the standard 36K warranty?
I tried a connector from Nitrous Outlet that is designed to fit my 2020 for $66 and it leaked like a sieve. The angled design didn't help much either. I will try the one from glowshift and see if that will work. At least it's half the price.
Interior is finished with Shelby Carbon Fiber Gauge Pod installed. Would have preferred a matte finish to the gauge pod; however, it works due to where it is located and looks great from outside.
Holding up perfectly. I am using a Chemical Guys interior product with ceramic properties as a cleaner and protectant. The Matte finish looks great with the interior and is much more subdued. Lots of compliments! I also have the Shelby Gauge POD and am just waiting for my next service to have it...
Has anyone purchased the Shelby Carbon Fiber Gauge Pod and installed it? Didn't get much help in speaking with Shelby. They just pointed to their F150 installation guide which is not that helpful in connecting power and lighting in the Mustang.
My console, knee pads and dash now completely installed with the matte finish. I really like the subdued effect of the matte finish. Just waiting for my next service to get my Shelby Gauge Pod to complete the interior. A little Carbon Fiber goes along way! I am very pleased with the products...
Fully Installed and very pleased with the results. The last piece of Carbon Fiber will be the Shelby Gauge Pod. Although, it is a gloss carbon fiber piece because of where it will be located I think the gloss will be better; especially, here in Phoenix.
looks really well done at first glance. I will be doing a more thorough testing fitting this evening but, I don't anticipate any issue based on what I see.
It is smooth with no texture but, unlike a glossy finish or what you would experience with window glass or a piano finish. I believe the matte finish goes really well with the finish of the rest of the interior and provides a more luxurious finish.
Had a quick couple of minutes between conference calls... just the right amount of carbon fiber once I have the Shelby Gauge Pod added! Will check the actual fitment this evening but, I am very pleased at this point of the Matte Look :-)
The matte finish looks great next to my Miko suede. I would say it is a lighter color with the matte finish versus the gloss. But, the 3D effect looks awesome.
