Added the clutch pedal extender last night. What an improvement! I am short (5'4") and this now lets me sit much further back and still drive comfortably. Previously, I felt like I was driving like a granny. I have never had this issue in any other car.
One hint when installing. It is...
Mine hits either the washer reservoir or the thin metal radiator pipe where that small electrical connection is.
It also seems too long to fit over the wire harness, but I can't get it down straight anyway.
Has anyone installed the UTR Single Valve Oil Catch Can (5030-98) on a 2015/16 Mustang GT with the Performance Package?

FINISHED! SUCCESS!!!
Forget about soldering. Forget about nylon washers. I just went for it with a pair of needle nose pliers. Gripped the whole button assembly square head on and gave the smallest of pulls. Came right off the board. Could not have been easier. They are barely stuck on at...
UPDATE: Wrapped in Tape and Comparison
I still have to find a way to omit the buttons (havent had a chance to go to the store to buy nylon washers or to try to desolder)
But I did a quick and dirty tape wrap to hold it together for now.
Here is the battery side wrapped in tape:
Here is the...
Thanks for this response. I guess you are right that I will probably not have the skill to desolder the buttons. And - even if I did - they might be more complex than just closing a circuit.
I am guessing that the antenna is the line around the perimeter where the key hole is. Everything...
Need some help from someone with actual knowledge - -
Each of the four buttons seems to be attached by six points - three on top and three on bottom. Can I just used a solder gun to melt these six points and remove the button without damaging passive functionality?
The idea:
The key fob is huge and I really don't need the buttons. I can start the car and lock/unlock the doors and open the trunk - all without using the buttons. If you want the buttons, feel free to stop reading, this isn't for you.
I want a key fob small enough to fit in my wallet so...
Holding the start button on the last step made all the difference. THANKS!!!
Next step is trying to chop up my third ebay key into a much smaller unit that I can passively keep in my wallet. I'll post a How To once successful.
I have tried this procedure about three times and failed to do anything to my new ebay key each time. I will try again holding the start button on the last step when I get home tonight. I am 99% sure I purchased the correct ebay key. FCC id matches and it is even a genuine Ford key for the...
Attorney here - agree, it is probably a waste of time to try to fix this through litigation.
Also, can confirm on my brand new June 1, 2016 build date GT Premium convertible - only seat bottom cools. Query - does AC need to be on for seats to cool more effectively? I have been riding around...
Latest is June 20 14:02ET - In Transit - Shipped Convoy - Convoy #ETTX715xxx (Virginia Transportation Corporation) Ramp 41, Newark, NJ Jun-20-2016
Newark, NJ is about 40 miles from my dealer. . .
Dealer looked it up on their computer and, as of June 17, it was still in "Intermediate Point (Norfolk Southern Corp) Oakwood, MI" but the dealer portal now showed expected delivery the week of July 3 (although COTUS still shows delivery June 26).
So, it appears my car was loaded on a rail car...
I'd like to think this is impossible. And your car is merely "temporarily misplaced" - but I imagine you must be fuming. I know I would be. My guard GT vert is in transit now too and I assume it is irreplaceable if something should go wrong.
Ordered my GT Premium PP Vert on March 31. Built on June 1. Has been in transit since June 3.
June 2 - Production complete, released for transit
June 3 - Received (Voith Industrial Services Inc) Ramp 4G, Mi Assebly Plnt, MI
June 8 - Loaded onto rail car
June 9 - Arrived at Intermediate...
150 ft/lb?!?!? That is crazy tight for wheel lugs. My past performance cars all called for something closer to 80. From where are you getting that spec?
