I think he is implying the maps for the phones use a data connection for downloading certain things. If you download your trip/map you need to worry about areas with no data connection

Well this thread can be closed called a local dealership offered to do it for $15 I said OK brought the car in and of course they can't get the car to program. Said a module is bad they tried to do something else and now my car won't even start. I can't begin to describe my love for this car.

UPR all the way the matte black from them has location pins and adhesive tape so you are good to go. Now the gloss has no location pins just adhesive tape.
