Guys,
The wheels are beautiful in Gunmetal, PERIOD! There isn't a lot a real estate/material left to be removed, if any!!!!! (Darren at Forgeline was great to work with) Seriously, they are stunning examples of craftsmanship! I did an initial quick weight on the bathroom scales and they are...
An 18" wheel is not an option with the 15.5 front discs, and yes I thought about that initially. I DO want to go as fast as I can, but mostly have some adrenaline laden fun. End of this year the RE-11's are to become available in a 305/30-19, so I can regroup once they are out. Fellow...
Congrats, and nice write up and awesome adventure with your Dad. You are blessed to have shared something this special together. Great Father/Son experience, and I concur, memories.....!
The spring rates are actually given in the GT350 manual. Rears are 914, I think, stiff for sure, but they...
Coming from a C6GS with mag ride(no gas pressure in shocks to add a tad of lift) and having the air dam (under the car, not the front splitter) drag on everything, the GT350 is a Jeep, no kidding.
The only tires I can find for the GT350 in 19's are the pilot ss, and re-11's with >=200 tread wear rating. 200 is the minimum for street class in the SCCA.
Gentlemen,
I understand they are wider than the factory 305 sections by 20mm/.78"= 3/8" per side wider. Granted section widths and/or tread width can vary quite a bit between various tires, and/or aspect ratios,,,,that's why I was asking about the pilot SS tires. According to Michelin the...
Gents,
Does anyone know first hand if a 325/30-19 Pilot SS will fit on the stock 350 rear 19x11 wheels, and clear everything?
I have ordered Forgeline GA1R wheels in stock offsets to be able to run in AS classing. SCCA solo Rules state that the wheels need to be within 7mm (approx 1/4") on...
Gents/Ladies,
Does anyone know for sure the classing on an otherwise stock vehicle for
200 and above tread were rating?
below 200 tread wear rating?
R compound/Hoosiers?
thanks in advance

I agree on all the street type tires in levels of grip in interacting with all my autox friends. I read somewhere that the RE-71R's might not be available to just prior to run offs and if inclined to get a set, one will need to get an order in early. Members that switched to the Re-71r's claim...
C7 B8,
I know of the re-11's and in the S2000 I ran the Derizza star spec(several sets) and thought they might be on even par with the re-11 tires? I can't compare the super sports to the re-11's. Do you feel/have knowledge of the re-11's being better in grip than the super sports? I can whole...
