Obviously, cancellation will not force anything, dealers will place your car promptly to another customer.
This shall be contingent anyway to the needs of each ordering customer. I guess that some of these may cancel if by whatever reason they need the car urgently moving to acquire any other...
Not in my case, the delivery date that dealer gave to me comes much earlier, although in the contract documentation was cautious enough to put end of July. Even though, the actual delivery date will be later indeed.
Well, I have terrible news! My dealer confirmed that their system shows delivery about August 15, which is frankly disgraceful. I have requested to be sent a screenshot to double check the info as appearing. I am thinking of raising a claim to Ford Spain for this, I hope they may explain...

If this is as such, COTUS EDD may be taken as accurate (although cautiously). EDD is 3 weeks since gate release at Flat Rock: this is consistent with 10 days or so over the Atlantic plus one week for traveling to the dealership. Add then four-five days, for taxes, registration and plate number...
