The same reason that someone would choose an v6 or EB over a v8, or choose heated/cooled seats over Recaros, or choose to not get PP. Not everyone drives the same way and has different preferences.

ya, no different than normal cruise with a manual trans. It works within whatever gear you are in. It drops out when you hit the clutch to shift. According to the manual, ACC will drop out if you are in too high or low of gear as well.

Very simply put: Lower revs = Fuel economy High revs = more power. Mathematically : HP=(RPM * T) / 5252 So, you can see why higher RPM = more power (and why the torque curve crosses the hp curve at 5252.
