Mines a daily driver and I have had it for 1 year last week. Still get that smile every time I get into it. I could spend $150,000 on something European and not get the attention that this thing gets. Sure the finish isn't up to European or Australian car standards - but it's a Mustang!:)...
Over the years our Falcons & Commodores developed into very good cars. As I said, we are very demanding.
I'm sure I have read that both Ford & GM have retained design and development staff in Aust as part of the development of future models.
My brand loyalty has evaporated with the end of local production. This is from someone that had a string of 6 commodores in a row before my Mustang. No amount of fixing will bring the European GM and Ford products up to the standard that we came to expect from our local car makers. We are a very...
I'm planning to update when my 2016 is 4 years old. Will just have to see where the update timelines fall. Still in love with this one though.
Better name and shame the dealer that is putting those plate holders on without checking with the buyer first. It is well known and discussed among ford dealers that they are the ugliest things ever made and should only be put in the boot at delivery.
How could they!!!!:paddle:
Thanks for the tip Sturty91. Bought it this morning from Autobarn.:clap2:
I'm not much of an expert on detailing so I was looking for tips on what to do to get that super glossy shine. I checked the Bowdens instructions very carefully to get it exactly the way they recommended.
Brilliant...
Would appreciate that Max. Got a big stone chip on the bonnet last week when a truck changed lanes in front of me.:frusty:
I will need an effective repair method to fix it.
Just my experience, but I would recommend Peter Warren's at Warwick Farm (western Sydney). Did everything the way I wanted and were good to deal with.:clap2:
From what I saw, they have sold plenty of Mustangs.
I don't think any dealer is brilliant at communication, but I got the answers to my...
I wonder if they fixed this problem in the MY17 models? The forum used to be filled with comments about this but hardly any now.
Mines an MY17 and a DD for work so plenty of use (well the drivers door anyway) but no issues with the pony lamp.
This happened to me last week as well. Drove for 1 hour and the air was working fine. After being parked for 30 minutes, no aircon at all when I restarted the car.
No warning, no slow decline. Just went from all to nothing in the 30 minutes it was parked.
Took it straight to Peter Warrens...
Yep, sure looks great. Can't beat a clean shiny black Mustang.
Not sure about that stack of chairs or something on the shelf behind the Mustang though. Looks like a disaster waiting to happen. :headbonk:
Careful noddy Those speed details on the touchscreen aren't "Traffic Sign Recognition". Those speed limits are programmed in and are just as inaccurate, as the roads themselves. They will only be updated when Ford issues an update to our maps.
As you are also in Sydney there will be lots of...
Mine is a Sync3 and the maps didn't get upgraded at my last service. Rang Ford HO and asked about it and they said there aren't any upgrades available yet. They have no plans or idea when they will be available.
Mine was built June 2016 so I don't know how old the maps were then, but I know a...
I have heard that the Ford Sync 3 map updates are released in April each year, so anyone having their car serviced from now on should get the updated maps.
Even with the updated maps, the traffic updates will never be up to the standard of Google maps. I have seen Google maps update the...
Good to hear you have an appropriate solution to this and it seems like they did the right thing without too much fuss. As it should be!:clap2:
By the way, how did you track it with GPS?
