Well I had good news yesterday. My air con was replaced about 3 years ago (under warranty) and has now gone again. I'm 10 months out of warranty now.
The dealer checked it out and submitted it as a warranty claim and it was approved yesterday.
Glad to know they are willing to do the right...
Some good news on repairs of known faults outside warranty. Mine ran out of warranty (3 years) in Sept last year, 10 months ago, and my air conditioning failed for the second time about 3 weeks ago.
Got the phone call yesterday to say Ford had approved the replacement again under warranty, or...
Send it, Fast!
We could all be in this situation at some time in the future, for a known fault that Ford has decided not to bother fixing under a recall.
Remember posting those photos of the ship coming through the Panama Canal or the ship docked in Auckland on it's way. Not to mention the heartache when the ship was out of range for a week while crossing the Pacific and we just had to wait, with no updates.
Yes we all seem to have it. There was mention of this a few years ago but I can't remember which thread it was in. Is this where one of the numbers is stamped?
I'd like to get your opinion about Rapid Red. Would you say it is darker or lighter than Ruby Red?
I have a Ruby Red GT now and was going to get another one later this year. From your photos the Rapid Red looks almost identical to Ruby Red, but that all depends on lighting in photos.
Not complaining about every American, just the small minded ones. We seem to get more than our fair share of them coming into the Australian part of the forum and commenting on things they know nothing about, like Australian racing legends.
Remember in kindy when someone would say "bottom" and...
Yes my biggest fear as well. Mine went at 8 months the first time when they recharged it, but then was good for another 18 months before it failed again and they replaced it.
I hope the new one they put in was a "new and improved" version that won't let me down. Now I am out of warranty I don't...
To be honest mine has done it a few times lately but I never remember to get it looked at when it's getting serviced. Never lasts for more than 5 minutes though.
Is that a cobweb on the front of the mustang? You need to drive it more often .
The Lakin bracket looks fantastic. Better than those ones with the little clips that you get from Supercheap.
Same here. In 3 days they had it fixed and you wouldn't know it had been touched they did such a good job. Better to have it replaced now than have to argue about it in a couple of years time when it is out of warranty.
