For you guys that installed the Rockford sub, did you have to drill new holes into the stock enclosure? The only two that seem to line up is the top and bottom.
One of mine failed after a little over a year. Originally purchased through Steeda but DD replaced them no questions asked. All I had to do was show copy of the original invoice. Had the replacements in three days.
How did you get it to stay in place while you used the extension? It keeps falling out on me before I can get the extension down in there. This is kind of funny because I got the 10mm bolt out no problem.
I don't have any dyno numbers but I know someone here on the forum did a before and after and the gains were good for the cost. I did the Lund tune and cat deletes at the same time and noticed a fair difference. The biggest difference is the sound. It is amazing but just too loud to handle...
I had the driver's side converter flanged so I could easily swap them back in for inspection time. I put the cats back on using jack stands in my garage in about an hour.
I'll make a video tomorrow. It is unbelievably loud and the crammed tune sounds damn good. I gotta say I'm a little concerned about getting a ticket...:D
