Yeah I got mine really fast too. I think the issue people are having is they're going to dealers that don't have allocations and the dealer can't put in the order for months so the Vins are only being generated 7 - 14 days after their orders are finally put in. A lot of dealers as assholes and...

I got my vin just over 2 weeks after I ordered the car. They had allocations immediately. I gave the dealer 3 weeks to get me a vin or I was going somewhere else. If they have allocations there is no issue with 2 - 3 weeks and that is the litmus test.

I would tell them exactly that then go find a dealer with allocations. What do you have to lose? They haven't even ordered it yet so with them you're rolling the dice on if they will even be able to order it in the next few weeks.

The dealership told me the Build Date is May 6th

Mine just updated to an estimated delivery date of 10 days earlier then before. Hopefully Ford keep up with that track and gets it to me earlier than it started out as!

Ordered mine on Feb 25th, dealer didn't officially put the order in until March 4th and I got my Vin on the 18th. So it took 2 weeks from order to vin # for me. 19 Loaded GT PP1 with everything.

Is that priority from your DORA? When I first was ordering mine, they had it as the same thing but it was just to show me that the options were all there. When they gave me the actual DORA it had a priority of 15 on it.

Once my 19 in the same color gets delivered I'll be having the same thing done with the UK. Looks slick as hell man!

It's called good business. The man waited over 7 months for his car when it should have been no more than 3. Nothing helps or hurts a business like word of mouth and they were smart to go the extra mile to do whatever they could to make it right. Good on them for what they did.

The only thing that sucks now is you have to load it into a trailer instead of driving her home...Congrats!

Thanks! I'm just not used to what this newer system looks like. The older DORA look completely different. But if this is the actual DORA and it's been ordered, now the wait begins! Patience after waiting 5 years since I sold my last Mustang isn't going to be easy lol. Thanks again!
