Someone from Ford said the 15 Mustang GT track pack is turning lap times faster than the Boss LS.

What makes it a successor? The creation and design by SVT or does it have to be called the GT500 to succeed it? THE GT350 will out perform the GT500!

I thought this was common knowledge. The Next SVT Mustang(whatever they call it) will be out the summer(June/July) of 2015, proximately when the 2016 vehicles will be release. I do not know the name or if they will call it a 15MY or 16MY. My guess is a 16MY. Most people here think I am wrong...

The GT350 or whatever it's called will be the next generation of the SVT Mustang and will out perform the current GT500 in most performance statistics. SVT understands that they can not go backwards. Because of the the new GT350 is much more than a new Boss.

I'm interested in price too for the st's. I like them but after seeing base 14 mustang gt sell for as low as 26k, it's hard to justify a 24k st.

I saw other posts only sourcing blogs, probably the leak trackaholic mentions. Nowhere did I see any gm statements on z06 power. Your post was just the info with no links.

I have seen a blog. Where is the GM statement. They very well could have...however if they have why are people only linking their source as a blog? And what about weight. Im thinking 3600lbs or about 150lbs more than the c7.

There has been no announcement by GM on the power of the new Z06, weight, or other stats. A blog referral is much like, dare I say it, Steeda blog of 200-300 more lbs or the RT article. My point is that Ford is no different than their main competitor in releasing specs on their new vehicles!

Weight of the c7 z06? It took gm 8 months for specs on the zl1.

What? Yes everybody here knows how to run billion dollar car company. Gm kept stats for the zl1 from public for 8 months after its debut. And yet Ford is bad guy?

I like the looks of them, however 35k Challenger to 35k Mustang and it wont be close in the 1/4 even with the torque advantage. The Challenger is running low 13's stock while the Mustang is running mid 12's stock. This is a big difference for the same money.

Considering someone already backed up rt story....someone who has been saying since 12 the 15 mustang is not losing weight. Forgive me to take his before yours.
