could be that , did you hold a 17mm on the backside while tightening? It might also be the strut end bolt , the one at the top you need a special socket or maybe you can hit it with a strong impact when it's compressed and under weight.
So I got my Sp080s installed along with cb005 and a few other goodies, anyways I installed the camber bolts to max positive on both sides and took it to get aligned, driver side front is -.05 sweet !!, the passenger front is -1.5 which seems normal with no bolt installed based on my reading...
I got this same kinda bolt but there is a plus to it, there is an arrow on the head of the bolt that is supposed to face opposite the tab on the adjuster, this makes it really easy to orientate on install ! Not sure if the original bmr bolts had this ? Also they come with this flat plate...
