Hi GT500 The cat failure was totally my fault. I didn't want them anyways lol. The upper mounts on the MCA are a single billet unit. (I'm not near the car and won't be for a bit but I believe there is a steel ball mount in there.) I'd be more worried the car ripping apart then that failing...

Hi GT500 Thanks for the kind words. I went with the MCS as I'm from Brisbane and if needed could get tech support easily. Initially they sent really stiff front springs (almost too stiff) and the rear were too soft 10km/mm. I asked them about the rears as they were very soft (I have an ice...

SO engine is out. What a mission. dropped all the oil, thought it would be a wise idea to soak up with builders sand. Now I have Oily sand. It took a day of cleaning just to get rid of that crap. Engine wise everything looked good, there was a little bit of concerning oxidation from the oil ( I...

So things are starting to slow down, I think I have the car pretty sorted however the stock motor is on borrowed time. So for the last 12ish months I've been saving reading up what works and what doesn't and started growing an engine build list JE Pistons with upgraded Nickle alloy piston pins...

I put a set of headers in before hand I have them ceramic coated to keep engine bay temps down. Planned on a 4 - 8 h installation however these left hand drive cars have shit everywhere. Took me 4 days! They are too quiet too but over here you get police attention real quick. Once installed I...

Nothing happened to the gear box snapped a belt being cheeky. Car over heats throws codes everywhere I was just lucky to get back to the pits. I have been really lucky with the MT82. I changed fluid almost straight away, I have dropped the engine 1 inch with the BMR engine mounts. I have the...

Wasn't really happy with the front end but mainly the rear. Purchased MCA (Aussie Company) RED race series coil over (not true coil over in rear) As well as the upgraded sway bars. All installed and sent off for an alignment, same guy I use forever thing. Comes back all good. The rear of the car...

So I've been driving the car around a a little bit, couple of track days didn't back to the drags. Loads of fun as a track car and will punish you with the slightest touch of the throttle! Tried flat shifting for the first time! ended me day!

SO mew mods! Mantic clutch installed in my back witch was "fun". Now GT350 Half shafts and some mods for the rear axle, I was warned that the diff may like to screw it's way out, so they were up graded to aluminium whatever I could throw back there. Out with old headers in with new coated ones.

Now this is awesome! Running E85 on a Rob Shoemaker tube, big fat rubber on the back what can go wrong? On the warm up burn out a little smoke but can't hear much with helmet on. Lights go GREEN all I can smell is clutch. We that's it for me

During the surgery I find out ways to squeeze more power out of the stock engine, and work some more on the tyre hop issue. MT Ordered and a full dual hellcat pump E85 return system with 1300 Injector Dynamic injectors. I chose the Radium Engineering as they make a solid product and they are...

Once recovered from my right ankle surgery, I had my left done. Another 3 months bed ridden, this one took a little longer because of a stupid accident. However between surgeries I had the car on the dyno. I was happy and disappointed at the same time. On the Whipple email tune the car made...

Went on holidays to the USA and sis a little shopping whilst I was there came back with Steeda stop the Hop package, a Carbon fibre steering wheel, a GT350 start / stop button I think they are called vert links? A Steeda Tri Ax to help with the lock out with a new shift knob. All brought back in...

Bout at this stage I think I have a fast car! So I take it to the local drags. WOW how wrong was I. The car would lock me out of 3rd, the rear wheel hop in 2nd gear was so horrible I was worried I was going to break the car or me. Best I could get was a mid to late 13 second 1/4 mil and trap at...

Next thing were wheels because grip was non existent of stock wheels. Went with Velgen VMB5 in Satin bronze which worried me a little redish on a red car. My wife was a straight no! Black / Silver wheels on a red car I think they work!

I'm pretty sure after this I went into surgery for my right ankle and was bed ridden for 3+ months, YouTube was my friend and I came to conclusion that I was going to supercharge the mustang. Options out here at that time were Whipple, Ford and Roush. Decided with the 2.9 Gen3 stage 2 Whipple...

Next mod was to black the car out. the Chrome just looked cheap. Watching lots of YouTube to prepare and it was stressful getting those badges off! However I think really complimented the car

Thanks, we got some weird additions out here. The passenger mirror whistles at about 140km/h or 100km/h with a head wind which can be really annoying. Exhaust fixes that!
