So everything came in Friday afternoon. Unpacked and car on lift to start pulling off longtubes and procharger. Won't get started on install until Aug 19th when i return from vacation. I will start a new thread at that time. Thanks Travis.
My kit is out for delivery today (Coral Springs). Will have it when I get home from work. I have a lift in my garage and do all work on my cars. I might pull my procharger off car this weekend. I am going vacation for couple weeks so most likely won't install till I return.
I ordered one and am one of the 2 people Travis is referring to. Depending on the day I get it and a few other factors, it might be installed before I go on vacation Aug 8. We shall see, it has been a hectic month. Once I have it I will pull off the procharger and long tubes and get them up for...
So I installed my Stage 4 Fore fuel system and Holley sniper intake this past weekend. So I got power to the pumps and noticed i had a leak by the FPR where i didn't tighten the connection enough. No big deal tightened and it was good. At least so i thought. I didn't see anything else...
I have had over 20 fox bodies. I never got into the newer body style mustangs till the 2015 came out. I ordered a new 2015 and took delivery in August. I finally sold off my twin turbo fox in November after it being up for sale for over a year as they are not as popular and harder to get rid...
LOL I did mine yesterday and yes putting the oil pickup bolt back on was the hardest. I have short fat fingers so i took a metal hanger and grinded both sides down flat. I made a hook out of it and slid it in between the head of the screw and the attached washer and then made a 90 degree bend...
definitely..1st time on highway with the car i actually pulled over and checked to make sure it was latched. i couldn't believe how much it shook. i have since ignored it.
Yeah lund will only do E85 on a boosted car if you have a fuel system. Won't do it with a BAP. I know I got my initial tune from him last week and am installing my Procharger now.
Like the title says. What is the easiest way to empty your fuel tank? I need to pull all the E85 out of it. Couldn't seem to find it anywhere in search so if i missed it my apologies.
Thanks.
Thanks RB. I have gone through your post many times and a few others who posted about the install but only one person actually said they purchased a turning tool. I know you put your damper back on using the stock bolt/washers method just didn't want to assume you did the same for turning it...
So I finally got some time to pull the motor apart to do my OPG/crankshaft gear install before i do my Procharger that has been on my shelf in garage for 3 months now. Anyhow those that did it how many of you didn't get a crankshaft socket or the ford crank turning tool and what did you use to...
you need a 15 mm ratcheting wrench with a swivel top. Like this as an example http://www.sears.com/craftsman-universal-flex-ratcheting-wrench-15mm/p-00935390000P?sid=IDx01192011x000001&gclid=CKDz79WN2MoCFYQYHwoddiMEjg&gclsrc=aw.ds
