Correct that's why I said it was 64,000 with the base price being 47,000. Crazy money for a small 4cyl car. I would rather have a GT500 for the same price.
CLA45 starts at 47,500.... This was our first one special end ordered for a customer. It was 64,000 and the seat option was 2,250. Also has worlds most powerful production 4cyl at 360hp out of a 2.0L.
The front design of the mustang is compared to the BMW but check Mercedes out as well. Also...
At the 0:55 mark they cut to an interior shot of the car accelerating. Hard to tell but could that be the EB? Sounds like a blow off valve right when it cuts away. Great video and maybe deserves it's own thread because there is a lot of nice sound bites and info to discuss.
It is direct injected. Also a 2 seater hard top convertible. Not sure weight figures/gear ratio off top of my head but you have it right. Its cool but not crazy improvements in fuel economy. ( car also has eco start/stop and its rated at 415hp) Our new standard v8 is actually a twin turbo 5.0L...
It is a nice feature. I have driven a 2013 SLK 55 AMG and it has cylinder deactivation. It is very smooth and you can't even notice it the way Mercedes has engineered it. Also averages 19mpg city and 28mpg highway out of a 5.5l V8.
I wanted to rent one from Miami and drive to Charlotte but they limit it to 450 miles a week. After that it 29 cents a mile. Would cost me close to $1500. That is a good begining to a down payment for a new Mustang!
