If anyone is curious I did weigh everything yesterday with tires mounted (285/325 Coopers on SVE)
Rear PP1 - 65
Rear SVE - 59
Front PP1 - 62.5
Front SVE - 59.5
18 pound unsprung saved
I went with the 285/325 Cooper set up. I only took it out for a few miles yesterday so no real insight. Initial reactions were the ride was not affected negatively and it seemed to hook up better. Maybe my imagination but I could feel the 18 pound difference.
Please ignore the car, it's dirty AF.
Yeah, 20mm is probably they way to go. The poke, if there, is minimal I'm not concerned, plus I have new wheels in the garage ready to go on so I'm ditching the spacers. Honestly I don't like knowing I have spacers installed.
My seat of the pants experience on a 1-11 dial (mine goes to 11) the stock tune is about a 4, the flex is about a 7 and the E85R is 10.5.
The flex tune is a compromise and nice bump from stock. Enjoy it for what it is and then wait for the fun to begin with the E85 tune, it's as bonkers as can...
I'm aware, just adding my 2 cents about driving on these in the cold.
My garage got down to -10 during that cold blast and my tires are fine. Have them pumped up to 38lbs
Did you need the 25mm up front for rubbing or just looks?
I am currently running 25mm all around on stock PP1 wheels and want to avoid using them if possible for a 305 sq set up. (also have a ~1" drop)
