A Ford Performance Event with Fiesta ST, Focus ST, Focus RS and the Mustang plus Vignales at the Munich airport. For hashtag maniacs #FordMUC from tomorrow.
you are right, never heard of that elsewhere in Germany, but then I am not a Munich nor bavarian resident:-) Looking forward to that event then.
Since yesterday through to 19th. a Ford Europe film team is busy in Germany with 'stangs.
Monaco di Baviera = Munich? Did not know that Munich ist the Monaco of Bavaria.
Monaco/Riviera makes more sense for photographic reasons, but maybe not for fast rides. Some "action" (probably for that oncoming event) was already going on today in Germany.
It was the press day (and preview day) with most media people still strolling around the 80th anniversary Jag and special other events for Maseratis, Aston Martin and Formula One history parcours plus Coys auction previews.
And no official Roush event as far as I took from the narration. Just...
They were in Germany since late November already at Geiger Performance and in December was an open day at the dealer "Mustang-Deutschland". US-Cars24 and others have their 2015s as well already.
First Roush Stage 1 #5 has arrived Sunday in the Netherlands and was on display today.
True, the audio system collapsed after that. Bad day. The problem for Ford Europe is to maintain interest for a year, while not earning any cent with it. Just spending money on launches and promotion with no return of investment is for sure not the current philosophy. Mostly using social media...
It has been assembled at least on Ford lines also in Venezula, Amsterdam, Mexico and elsewhere.
But it makes probably no sense today to convert a line. The Dollar vs. Euro is good enough to build them in Flatrock. The prices in Europe - going via 5 havens like Livorno, Marseille etc. - will be...

The Dealer launch party is this...
The european equipment/package was recently changed with a managing change, the chinese version has some different colour trim and the RHD is handled by the UK branch, but in general the export package is mostly the same. 19" wheels standard due to the choice of tires in Europe.
Dealers will be...

She has some other short clips on her site from the event...
The Global Car Chief Engineer still likes the Shaker and the Mach 1 package itself. Art Hyde held a speech at the 2014 Charlotte event. Here is the Mach 1 part (he speaks about the 2003 and especially profitability of all sorts of Mustang SEs in the past, but anyway...the package worked for Ford...
A quickly slapped together video impression from the event and convertible. Edited version to follow later.
