Got good news yesterday. The mustang is fixed and the dash didn't have to come out. This time it was a compressor failure which was very obvious once they put the dye in. Picked it up this afternoon and it's all good. At least Ford did the right thing doing the repairs under warranty again...

A bit deflated. My air con has gone for the third time. Exactly the same symptoms this time as the previous 2 failures. Have any others had more than one failure? As I have said previously, the dealer has been excellent in both support and the repairs, with the dash now having been out twice...

That is the hardest part, just waiting for your shiny new pony to arrive. When I ordered mine they were quoting 18 months wait but when Ford US saw the demand they stepped up production for Aus and it came in 12 months. Still no regrets, best car I've ever had.

I can relate to your pain. The emails that Ford promised to send were almost non existent. They did send me one about 2 weeks after I took delivery to say that the car had been built and was on it's way. They would be better not to promise anything than to leave us hanging.

Do you have 4 years warranty? My warranty was only 3 years and I have had the air con replace twice, the second time 9 months out of warranty. The oil cooler problem worries me as well.

I think someone on here said it a while back, Black isn't a colour, it's a way of life because you are going to spend the rest of your life keeping it clean. This guy has simply given up or the process of keeping it clean has driven him mad and this is him loosing it.
