Flood and consider the lighting policy also. I had a taillight fail, MSRP on the taillight is around 900, you can buy them online for around 600, but if it was covered on an extended warranty, theres that.
sounds like the same problem I had, kind of, different DTCs though but it might be worth reading for you. Here was my fix, in this thread, post 12.

I know those dongles are sketchy, but I have the same one as you and luckily it worked for me. I had tried a different brand first which was a POS. I bet you're right, may be your dongle. Hang in there!
When you plug in the dongle, does it light up? It needs to be plugged in firmly. When it's plugged in, do you have the car in run mode without the engine running? Have you switched the toggle switch back and forth to see if it makes a difference?
As to the front plate mount, my california special has a huge splitter and I use the sto and sho. Maybe buy one for a CS and if it doesn't fit, return it?
Have no idea, just letting you know there are fuses in electronic components that don't look like traditional fuses. That's all I can tell you. You would have to take a meter and just start fishing around.
on my 19 Tacoma, I was able to pull the stereo and snip one wire which allows my passenger to use the nav unit while I'm driving. Took me about 15 minutes, tops. Wish it was this easy on this car. I agree, the driver should not be distracted, but it sucks when the passenger cant enter in...
I had the same problem, someone on here had recommended modifying the Chevy Cobalt seat belt guides. I bought them, cost about 30 bucks, look like those bmw ones shown in this thread. I would recommend them. Here is the thread...
just installed on my 16, I had shell 92 in it, no pinging. Just refilled with fresh shell 92, still no pinging. Has a lot more low end torque. I would only do it if you can get quality high octane gas. Lots of complaints on here about pinging with crappy gas. Even if it was labeled 91 or 92.
