Sorry BmacMI. I was typing the response before I saw your post. I am sure the axle ratio has an impact as well (keeping the RPMs down quite a bit into the weak part of the power band from what it looks like.)

Thanks Bay1Stang. By looking at those curves, I think my problem was that I was just not in the powerband/not giving it enough throttle.
