Black car, 3 years old. I tried to keep up, but with my hours..
Need polishing. Some light scratches. One guy wants 200, the other said a 49 dollar clay bar. Don't have time to attempt myself. Any one you recommend and or what prices generally are fair?
Thanks in advance!
I was similar. I used fords website. Use the search feature to narrow the field then use msrp until you isfind the right car. My car was still being built but the order placed it in the system. Googleing the vin led me to the dealer.
You can probably do better than x price, but that is a stress...
That link won't work, edited 2x and still no.
You answered my question by virtue of having lived the modification and owning a pp. I'll put that bmr toelink on my list and do as you and Kelly suggest for the knuckle bushing-to-bearing swap from the oem toe link's bearing. Thanks a ton for...
Found this thread in pursuit of the same answer.
Wish ford provided what exactly comes with pp. Here is cjpp stating in the q&a that we do have the knuckle/toe bearing

Whenever I've got clothes from those places, the articles wear out 5x as fast and are only 2x less expensive as quality brands! Frugality is not cheapness lol.
 Couldn't help this off topic, out of context, comment
Depends on the owner and passion. I tend to keep my things for a long time. Do something new for the car every few years and its always exciting. This is only my second new car at 45, perhaps my last. The depreciation is ugly, at some point its 40k relatively gone. But, if you keep the car...
I double clutch and rev match, always. When you get that down, the ride as as smooth as an automatic. You can select non-sequential gears as well.
This car is not factory set for heel/toe, not for me anyway. At 6', I'm leary of the DIY pedal modification.
Never had any clutch issues. I do...
Black Friday got me some IRS Steeda components and BMR vertical links. I was happy to see this thread. There's a lot to learn and figure out in order to make proper selections. After this stuff gets on, it'll be time to see if the more advanced things are worth it. Finances stopped me from going...
To keep this short, check out trucar. I used it to evaluate a reasonable price when I got mine. There were 3 participating dealers in my area and I ended up with otd under msrp for a premium. I didn't use their service but found it very helpful.
I had a few that clay bar nor mild abrasive would get out. Some one said a vinegar solution helps, I followed google instructions to seemingly no avail. That was like 8 weeks ago and they are largely gone My guess is the vinegar solution broke it down and nature is doing the rest in time. Hope...
I hadn't used it for a number of years. Put it on my black 550 after clay baring her... wow. Its my current favorite. Its been around awile, do some research on it. After I get a few problem areas worked out, I will put a number of coats on. Would have applied when car was new, but the "polish"...
Nick, thank you for the customer service. Not going into the frustration, but I'm ticket number VHP-407-24860. That initial dude, ...isn't good. Please help, thanks :)
I may get this tomorrow. Two questions for the community, though.
First is I saw I can't use Ford's 50 years shift knob, correct?
Secondly, I do jump around the gearbox via double clutching downshifts. Not so much in this car, lol, but my Accord 5spd did see many 5th down to second shifts...
That this vehicle performes as well, or better than cars with much higher price points should be in your consideration as well. I don't care about hood struts, so I don't see your point. There is a prop rod.... Drake has a SS one for like 30 bucks.
