They can be a PITA but they will come out. Your first problem is that 'hard rubber mallet'. Throw that thing in the trash and get a real hammer or 2lb sledge. Make sure the nut is threaded till the very end of the bolt so you are messing up your bolt/threads and then proceed to beat the piss...
Can't believe no one has mentioned the Corsa Touring axle back. Probably one of the best sounding systems out there, just a little louder than stock with room to grow with the addition of a mid-pipe.
I agree- I misunderstood the original question.
I actually prefer the Borla Atak sound over the Xtreme from Corsa, but I prefer the Corsa build/quality- if that makes sense.
The Xtreme is just too raspy for me. Both systems are quiet while cruising but the Xtreme is just a little much...
But...but.. the IRS will be horrible for drag racing!! Ford doesn't know what they are doing!?!? /sarcasm.
Awesome times given the 'limited' mods. These cars continue to impress!
Dyno is nothing more than a tuning tool- people who say "well my car made 450 with intake only, your tune must be garbage..." are idiots, frankly.
Temperature, Humidity, Elevation, Fuel Quality, Dyno Type, Correction factor etc will all have an effect on your final numbers and therefore you...
The ecoboost class, while obviously not as 'wild' as some of the other classes on the surface, is going to be very exciting to watch in the future to see how guys continue to push this platform. Congrats to you and your team!
Ummm, that's exactly what it means...
A 'flow bench' prove this. Thats the entire point of a flow bench lol. A Flow bench doesn't take into account engine displacement- it simply measures the amount of air (CFM) that is able to flow through any given item.
I've seen LS3 heads flow 320+ stock and LS7 heads have been known to flow roughly 360cfm where as with a stock Coyote you are lucky to see 300cfm on the intake side.
'Better flowing heads' is just not accurate.
There is more to primary size then just basic 'power' as an all encompassing term. Primary size can affect the characteristics of the power/tq curve and when peak tq is reached. Its better to determine what your goals are (street car vs race car) and then make your selection based on the info...
I have no doubt that you will sir, on all accounts. And at the end of the day, we all win because competition motivates people to go bigger and we (the mustang community) get to watch it all go down.
I respect what you have done and your accomplishments, I really do. I just don't know why...
