2k ish miles on mine, I did not wire mine with the T-stat, just a on/off toggle, works every time i flip it on, been through touchless car washes were it gets direct spray...no problems. I did solder and heat shrink all wire connections. Have yet to run it on track

  4. Mustang Shelby GT500 will produce 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque

A stock 15+ GT PP is generally quicker around a circuit track than a Hellcat...unless the track is really open with larger sweeping corners and longer straights...the more technical the more a mustang has an advantage over it. Also Chargers/Challengers/Hellcat/Redeye #1 track problem is brakes...
  5. Clutch Pedal Mush

Not that I noticed, but the bite point had changed, it was right off the floor instead of in the middle of pedal travel.
  6. Clutch Pedal Mush

Yes one of the inner springs broke, the piece got out and lodged in the clutch disk.

  10. Clutch Job Torque Specs

As the title says I'm pulling my MT-82 to replace the clutch. I need all the torque specs related to the job for re-assembly. Bell Housing to block bolts - TOB - Others? - I have the flywheel to crank and Pressure plate to flywheel specs from Exedy.
  11. Cost of 2 piece rotors...

I slightly overheated/faded my stock PP brakes at Thunderhill, for most of 2017 & 2018 I figured I would upgrade to the GT350 brakes eventually, but once Steeda offered the two-piece set and for just shy of 1200 bucks, I went that route. I did the rotors on all 4, along with stoptech pads and...
  12. Steeda Wants Your Feedback - New Parts Suggestions

I'm still hoping for an X-Brace with an integrated trans cooling air scoop
  13. Durability of gt350 half shafts?

True, but if you're doing the rear lower control arm bearings you have to remove the knuckles anyway, at that point you might as well do the toe bearings on a press.
  14. Durability of gt350 half shafts?

You have to go full hard mount or very close to it. Lower control arm and toe link bearings are the 2 items a lot of people skip...mainly because you have to completely remove your rear lower arms and rear knuckles to have the stock rubber bushings pressed out and the bearings pressed in. Bottom...
  15. Quietest axel-back exhaust

Anyone done any sound testing with various combinations? I really want to run Laguna Seca but they have a 93db limit. I know im well over that with an X-pipe and the FP by Borla Sport mufflers, I wonder if switching to the touring versions would get me even close to that? I have heard Laguna...
  16. SJ Ox White Base Build

Also, my rental car for my month stay in San Antonio is a 2019 Coyote/10R80 F150, first time i've driven one. Amazing the get-up and go it has for a big heavy truck, the 10R80 really bangs through the gears. I've never ridden in a 18+ Mustang but now have an idea of why they are so quick.
  17. SJ Ox White Base Build

Update: some reading this may have seen in the driveline and HPDE sections what happened. Bottom line, something clutch related let go on the 24th, which killed my track day....kinda. My wealthy father-in-law handed me the keys to his Challenger Hellcat to at least run the already paid for track...
  18. Best Clutch for track use?

Never mind on the 600 it’s for high hp applications. The hyper single is a sprung plate, so even though it’s grabby, it shouldn’t shock the driveline too bad. I’ve emailed Exedy, waiting on an answer. Steeda is recommending the hyper single
  19. Best Clutch for track use?

Yeah maybe the Mach 600 is plenty
