I had a 2000 GT stick and it was a fun car to drive and shift.
It sucked in traffic!
My new automatic is exactly what I wanted, I can pass several cars in a row very quickly!
I was on a coastal highway where some prius was backing up traffic and the first straight away, I got around the prius...
I hit a cat and need the front bumper cover replaced but my body shop is saying that their supplier is saying that it's been back ordered for a while.
Been 10 days since they put the order in with the supplier.
Hope this is just a short glitch is all. :frusty:
I have 2k miles on my car so I called my dealer to get the oil changed and they said to wait until I have 5k on the car.
He said the factory puts an additive in for break in so I'll wait.
I still have to install the Steeda springs but threw my back out when I dropped a nut behind the fender.
So when installing the hood struts do not let the hood nut fall behind the fender. LOL
I hope you get your car soon!
We had the same build week, you must be excited that the wait is almost over.
I've had mine now for a few weeks and it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.
My GT did not have the the threaded head up front and after waiting a week to hear from Steeda who said someone would call me I bought a washer and lock nut.
900 miles on my tires and hit a pot hole or something on I 84 and got a flat.
Thought I hit a pot hole on I 84 and lost air in my tire.
looked back and saw nothing after the bump and got the low air warning so I used the quick flat fixer. Took it to my tire dealer at discount tire where I buy...
Glad I got the 401a, BLIS has saved me already from darting over and hitting someone in the next lane. I needed to get around a slow going Prius in the left lane on I-5.
