I'm about the same size as the originator of this thread, and I think that getting the position right is imperative. Once set, the seat seems to fit like a glove. I don't let anyone move it because it took me a few tries to get everything the way I like it.
Makes for a good race, it's all in the jump, as the Mustang lunges ahead, IMO (and a brief run on a SP car). My car is tuned / CAI / X-pipe and has similar Gross HP, the car I raced was very new, and driven by a kid. I executed two very good shifts and waved goodbye. I think at a strip, it...
Good luck on your search... my car was at the closest dealer...lucky break...but I knew where the other Recaro cars were. Definitely possible at this point in time. Hope it works out for you.
I don't know how many of you had the chance to attend C & C, but it was an epic event. Saw 5 other '15s, and Wayne Carini filming an episode of Chasing Classic Cars. There were hundreds of cool rides, and 1000+ people in attendance. Next event... 6/7.

My car had the same issues you described until I received the 91 Race tune from BAMA. That fixed the soft throttle response around 2700 rpm that I had (and sounds a lot like what you are describing). The guys at BAMA will sort it out via a datalog session. Good luck to you!

First Sunday of every month is Cars & Coffee @ Blackhawk...went last week and it was awesome! The Camaro guys park together and many of the Mustangs did, too. Definitely, a fun time. I'm up for a Hooters Run, too.
I'm in Sport Mode before the seat belt is buckled, just as suggested above in pre-flight. I sometimes stay in Normal to remind myself why Sport Mode is so much better.
I was cross-shopping a few other models, too. Once I saw the GT/PP in person, I was there. The DIB I test drove was great, and the Recaros in my CO sealed the deal. This is my third Mustang, the first was a 1979 Turbo Pace Car, while the second was a 1986 Saleen. This is, by far, the best...
Drove it in the nice NorCal weather until it started to rain. Checked the new tune I loaded via the SCT X4, listened to the new burble, care of the Ford Racing Performance X-pipe, and the revised intake whoosh, courtesy of JLT!
I have wanted a Mustang in CO since I last saw the color in 2004 on another Ford model. The few 2013 Boss cars in a similar shade were out of my league, but when the dealer told me CO was coming... I waited patiently. CO forever!
I'm with the majority on this package... overall it's really matched to a more aggressive driving style (not Track, necessarily), but a little more like GT+. The bracing makes it handle sharper, and the components are an exceptional deal. The Torsen alone might make someone switch, as it's a...
