Fist thing thanks Loki-GT !! fellow member here in the forums, made my life a lot easier yesterday at the track... :headbang: his tips help a lot.
Automatic 10r80 drag mode 3.55 gears.
Mods- Stop the hop Steeda and Lowering springs (stop the hop more useful on the manual cars in my opinion)...
the thing is with this spring the front drop is quite aggressive. With this stock tires and the offspec ,the tire is almost inside of the wheel well so any spacers added might make the tire rub. So in short with this tire and wheel setup probably no spacers for me...
I mean it looks pretty bad ass I think. But this springs probably work better with 19" wheels. Also as the front tire is almost inside the wheel well spacers would probably make them rub. But the performance aspect is there, as advertise it feels great. But if you are looking for that flush...
Good to know,
the big difference for me is having those 20" tires in front, I'm guessing that the spring are design for those 19" tires so that extra Inch in the rim plus a 1.25" drop from the springs makes a big difference.
I don't mind, it looks like it has coil overs and really not...
Same with me, it feels like there's not much room in the front, for a tire taller than 35, with this springs. Specially if you have 20's already like I do. I even think that 275/35/20 might not eve fit without rubbing.
That 1.25" drop in the front is pretty aggressive.
Thanks for that info, I tend to slam the accelerator right of the bat instead of doing this, can't wait to practice this next Thursday when I go to the track :headbang:
yeah that's what I do on roll race. S go to desired gear, go woot tap it foward computer keeps on trucking. Of course on a roll if you are racing probably want to have the other toggle on Track or Sport +.
Have not tried doing a roll on drag mode though. Probably not a good idea :)
I have the same car as you, hopefully I should be hitting the track in a week or so, but testing the drag mode on the street I have noticed something similar. In sport plus you pass those triple digits a lot smoother than on drag mode. As soon as i go ill post and see if I notice the same...
Yeah I used it all the time with my Manual,
But I've read a couple of post from ppl commenting that their cars re engaged SC/TC after the use of line lock. Don't know if was driver error or programming bug, so just wanted see what people where doing on this new transmissions, that drag mode...
Cool thanks :headbang: Im might be going to one of those private track rental days in a couple of weeks and it is my first time in an auto, so just wanted to double check on that.
So, put it on drag mode (D or S does it make a difference?) , hold traction control 5 sec, do quick burn out to get them warm at least ( are you guys using line lock?) stage, 2000 k rpm smash accelerator down (i'm guessing that part will depend on tires of course) and enjoy.
Those that sounds...
Yeap! just go my Pro charger stage 2 installed a week ago, always though this threads where a little bit exaggerated , I mean 3rd, 4th wheel spin? come on!!! But sure enough, I now stand corrected and it is fucking scary as hell lol....
My lord this things are insane with force induction, I...
They better lol, wondering if they are going to but that 10 spd tranny in as well. That tranny is pulling out some very insane numbers with the 2018 gt's . I mean 11.8-11.9 1/4 of mile, that's aspirated territory right there.
