  1. Another Sob Story

Looking on the bright side, the way things are going you won't need the baby seat to fit. Only kidding! I'm just under 6ft and you would easily get a child up to 10 years old behind me driving. I'm sure that you can find a baby seat to fit too.

Steve - you didn't spot that I was living the dream ;)

Cheers Stark! Is it time for an Essex meeting end of March? I think so. Just need to find a venue nearer to the M25 than where I live so that the others can join in. Although we could go to the MOCGB venue which is the Fox & Goose A414 near Chelmsford. Cheers mate. I wouldn't have minded...
  6. Hello Everyone

    Sheeeez, you're brave! :)
  7. Cold Feet

Generally 3 series population drops quite markedly each winter as their owners drive them into ditches. :bolt:
  8. Cold Feet

RoyalGuard - seriously, you are leaving all your mates and a lot of banter behind. Buy the Yank because it will always be a joy for all sorts of reasons. Don't get a German just because it is efficient - you won't feel the love after you leave the salesman's hands. Ideally buy both though :)
  9. Cold Feet

    LOL He's left the building!
  10. Hello Everyone

Hey Harry, Good to see another classic owner. When will you get the '68 on the road?
  11. So.......2 years and 24 days after ordering....

Hi Kristian, It needn't be expensive getting a '65 if you start with a coupe - though you'll probably want a fastback to match your other wheels
  12. So.......2 years and 24 days after ordering....

Thanks! This might be your answer http://www.mustang6g.com/?p=8146 ;)
  13. So.......2 years and 24 days after ordering....

Cheers Danielle! I've seen your pics on the Ruby with Stripes thread and yours looks pretty amazing too - loving the wheels. I guess Ford didn't want a mismatch of hood colour to stripe (imagine silver hood ). I also thought silver ott's with Guard and other combinations would have been...
  14. So.......2 years and 24 days after ordering....

I think it could be to do with the stripes. There was a queue apparently and it is an off-line process. It has of course been commented here that there was no queue order at all. I'm going to try and forget that now :D
  15. So.......2 years and 24 days after ordering....

It looks pretty good up close - approaching the car for the first time was amazing. A couple of employees in the dealership said they had changed their minds about what colour was best. I do want to get a glossy top coat on it but will wait until the scratch fix. '65 is gold with a green...

I finally have my Mustang :headbang: The timeline for this has been: Ordered: 25/01/2014 Priced: 24/01/2015 Stripes added: 05/05/2015 Blend date: 18/11/2015 (NB: my other Stang 21/11/1965) Gate release: 10/12/2015 Set sail from Baltimore: 04/01/2016 Arrived Zeebrugge...

There might not be a classic Stang is all I'm saying. Think my S550 will be here before then ;)
  20. Tyres/suspension

A general reply to this thread. Suspension has to be stiffer on taller cars so they don't fall over. The Merc A class is a case in point because the Mk1 version really did fall over (failing the Swedish Elk test) and they had to stiffen it up. [ame] It follows that low slung cars don't...
