Close call..
I think I'm going to install the dashcam myself after a close call on the weekend - as I had shoulder surgery yesterday and am in a sling for 8 weeks, I decided to take the GT to Port Macquarie for the Beatlemania Car show.
On the way back I detoured off the new highway to stop...
A guy who lives near me and has a DIB GT bought up a good point regarding the oil in the new cars.
They are built and run hot on their systems check before being left for a month outside whilst waiting to be shipped, then driven again onto the ship before another 6 week siesta during...
I'm in the market, have to renew by the 18/2 - nrma $953, Woolies $650, Youii $1207 :eyebulge:
My main worry about Wollies is if you need to make a claim - I'm with NRMA for everything else.
Friend in the smash repair biz said NRMA always pays - woolies and Youii don't.
Cheers

It's the same shit that they pull with the Performance car of the year in Wheels? mag.
Top 3 are ferrari's etc - all cars well out of reach of your average aussie punter.
Guess what was at the top of the people's choice? Current mustang.
Totally out of touch with their target market...
I believe that ford is relaxing the rules around vehicles that are ordered but not bought by the original purchaser - dealers can now ask on an individual basis if they can sell the car on instead of returning it to the pool - possibly because they bare planning on increasing supply this year so...
Sorry Allan
Had a little SNAFU this morning - took the GT in, old mate comes out and has a look inside - advises that it's going to be about 4 hours work with a $500 pricetag.
Not about to pay that much - will organise it to be done next time I'm down in Sydney, gotta be cheaper right...

Hello John,
Thanks for contacting AmericanMuscle! In regards to your question about the right hand drive fitment of the Steeda Brace, this part will fit all 2015-2017 Mustang GTs, whether LHD or RHD...
My Thinkware is being fitted tmrw so will check back through the thread for tips.
The main ones I've picked up so far is to not use Samsung cards in them and adjust the voltage for the parking mode to avoid a flat battery.
It's being fitted by a Thinkware dealer so I'll drill him for info...
Thanks Tim
All good - looking forward to installing the brace and going for a drive.
I'm liking some of your rims as well - will have to wait a couple of months as I'm going in for shoulder surgery next week, the pony will be covered and resting for a while.
Cheers

Are you sure? The description says it fits all 15,16 & 17 Eco/GT models but not the V6.
I've sent an email asking them to clarify but they're 16 hrs behind so will hear back in the morning I guess.
On another site the question is asked about this product and the answer is that it fits non...
I've been ordering parts for my '65 resto from CJPP for the past 4 years and haven't had a bad transaction yet - prolly lucky by the sounds of it.
Have put an order in to American Muscle tonight for the GT - a Steeda tower brace, billet engine dress up kit, 2 x engine oil filters and a banner...
It's just the basic full front wrap around that wraps the edges where the top of the headlight goes to the front wheel well and a quarter way up the bonnet - both side mirrors also, cost $900. Will have to find out what the film was from the dealer.
Wanted to get it done before it left the...
Picked up MY17 FB on the weekend - had dealer fit bonnet struts and paint film as its an 8 hour drive home, windows tinted yesterday - booked in for Thinkware F770 fitting on Monday. Bought it from a tip off here, saved about $250 on what the local guy retails them for - He's prolly going to...
