I guess at a minimum then, to get the best handling and breaking stock gt, you need to get one with a manual. My guess is with the 373 rear end gears, its probably faster 0 to 60 as well. Maybe someone will test an LE with an auto and prove me wrong though.

Could it possibly be the new Ford GT? I've read they're working on it. Some sites were predicting it would be launched in L.A. My guess is, though, it will be a couple of trick apps, pieces, fuctions, etc. for the GT350. Something along the lines of line lock.

I had the same issue. I sprayed some WD-40 on the latch and opened and closed the mechanism from under the hood and and under the dash a few times to work in the lubricant. Problem solved.
