The reason your rears are wearing so fast is you're getting into the throttle to hard causing them to slip...try a taller gear coming out of the corners and press the gas pedal like you had an egg under your foot. And do this as soon as you come off the brake. Same thing on your fronts, pushing...
Old friend Randy Pobst. Fastest in the rain of all the drivers I've been around. Anyway, you will need to drive the car on the track a bit to adjust your braking points. Way later in this car. Throttle as soon as you come off the brakes. Thought to learn. 30+ years teaching and racing has taught...
I'll wait until someone uses these above 160 mph. It's ok to add reinforce but with one attachment I'm not convinced. Load is back and rotational down and back. Bad juju.
I talked to our State Police office in state capitol re front plate. They had several questions. Did a front bracket come with the car. Answer, no. Similar to Ferrari or Lamborghini cars. Then they wanted to know what the car was. I told them and they asked what was different from a regular...
I had mine in shortly after reading your post. Asked Tom about your problem and he told me they had a meeting with oil change personnel and tech's directing them to double check specs when working on GT350's. They also decided to have tech's do the work as it takes so long on our cars. So you...
I run the N spec tires on my GT350 295/325. They have 9 track days and still have 3/32" tread remaining. 40 years racing/30 years teaching. I use the recommended track alignment and 34# cold pressure. I'm usually at 1.3 g turn limit and 1.2 braking. Videos posted elsewhere.
30 plus years teaching HPDE, Senior Instructor PCA NA and various other marques here in the NW. Yes, we're around and love the GT350 and its track capability.
What tire pressure were you running (cold) when you went you on the wet track. Sounds like you're playing just right. You need to come back to the NW some time friend!
