I agree, both are very capable. I'm sure I would love both. Just for those who like to brag about Whipple dyno numbers I think it would show they are very close in real life performance.
I would really like to see someone with a Roush kit race someone with a Whipple kit. I'm interested in buying both. I've seen a Roush kit run 10s, haven't seen anything close with a Whipple kit with Whipple calibration. I have seen many great Whipple dynos though. Not sure I would buy just for that.
Not sure Roush has ever offered a warranty with Phase 2 or 3. Since you already have the Roush you would probably be better off taking it to Livernois or Alternative Auto and getting a more aggressive dyno tune since you are in Michigan.
thePill keeps interest in this thread and forum to a degree which is good. However a lot of the stuff he brings up to me is pointless. That's okay, I still like to see what he says. I know that about 10 years ago the Mustang had a weak engine, and up until recently had a solid rear axle. The...
Ray Skillman Ford Got 606HP/ 494 TQ on the dyno with a 2015 Roush Stage 3 Mustang. Brenspeed got 611 HP/ 494 TQ on the 670 HP Calibration Upgrade from Roush.
Road and Track tested a Shelby Super Snake which I believe runs with Whipple tune. 0-60 in 3.9 and a 12.3 1/4 mile. Evan Smith of MMFF ran a 11.93 1/4 mile. He said with a drag setup and better track conditions he believes it will run low 11s. 3.73 gear may hurt the 1/4 times also.
Mustang looks better to me, but the Camaro is not as ugly as I thought it was when I first saw it.
Not trying to get into a point less debate but, as far as brakes and tire width, most buyers won't care. The Camaro has more horsepower and torque in SS trim than the GT. Magnaride is optional for...
Seems like there were some headaches with the Procharger kit. Now that everything seems to be fine, would you recommend this supercharger or would you go another route?
