The spy photographer already confirmed that the rear is fake, I would expect Ford to do the same with the front. It also seems like the front is false when you look closely at the photo.
UPDATE--- Clever, clever Ford. After further review, I now believe that the Front of the car is a false fender and bumper setup. It appears that the opening to the grill is actually several inches forward of the grill itself, with a large gap in between the lip of the bumper, and the edge of the...
Exactly. One of the things that Fords head engineer said they take pride in is crash safety. The current S197 is rated 5 stars in all 4 categories, and he wants to keep it like that. Which means keeping the B-pillar.
They look good! The only thing that I would change is I would add the B Pillar. The spy shots sort of confirmed that there will be one, at least that's what I take from it. Here are the photos i'm referring too.

This won't work. In the original camo picture, you can see the roofline through the rear quarter window cover. So the roof is much lower.
I remember reading somewhere recently where a Ford engineer mentioned that the 4cyl Eco will only be available in Europe. Don't know how accurate that info is though. Also heard that the v6 will be pushed to 350-475ish range.
Edit* 350-375ish. Not 475ish lol. Typo. That would be a lot of kick...
I really doubt they'll take any camo off before the final reveal. They kind of want it to be a big deal, so if we basically already know what it looks like, it would sort of ruin it. I think that's why it has heavier camo then a normal car would. They even have fake tail lights and a fake roof line.
They might be. It may be a fake panel put over the real rear. That was actually my first thought when I saw them, because it looked really strange to me, like it wasn't finished. Back in December, I was reading an article in Car and Driver of an interview with someone who actually got to see the...
