Same thing happens on 2.2 for me. I have to plug the cable into the phone, then turn on sync and then plug the cable into the usb port. Any other combo/sequence and AA fails to load.

You need a drive with 32GB FREE. Very important!!! A 32GB sick does not have 32GB free. I'm dealing with this issue right now. Had to get a 64GB to make sure that there is 32 free.

I had the same problem when I got my 16 vert. Quick trip to the dealership and a simple adjustment and I was on my way again. Have you checked to see if you just need an adjustment?
