So I got my hood struts today and I fixed em up nice and tight as per the instructions. After a few testings on the struts (slowly) to ensure everything is OK, everything was good and smooth for the first 3 tries. Then the strut from the passenger side popped out from the joint on the car...

So apparently, some company has already started giving solutions for aftermarket head units for the Mustang 6G. In my view, it looks close to OEM, and can be considered if the price is right. I dont know about the price as I just stumbled over this youtube video. Looks promising @ [ame]

I have just been communicated by Nick from Diode dynamics, and they have shipped me another replacement of light bulbs plus resistors. Hope the replacements work. Will keep you guys updated. Also kudos to diode dynamics, so far best customer service i have experienced yet.

Please take pics of what you end up doing to the pins. I was asked to do the same first and I looked into every pin in detail. I even switched the left bulb to the right side and vice versa, but the lights still flicker after a few minutes. :(

i made a huge box around the 5.0 as you can see in the picture. Plasti dip the box and the 5.0 emblem along with it. The idea is to peel of the box once done, as you peel off, everything would remove easily except the emblem. No need to put painters tape around the 5.0 perfectly. Try it. Yup ...
