That doesn't say anything about the design of the S550, all it says is that it'll look cool, and that the 2013 will be different, which we already know. This is a very old interview, which doesn't really give us any more information that we already know.
Don't worry, I got mine in 5 1/2 weeks. I never got a vin. Just got a phone call randomly one day saying that it had arrived and was ready for me to pickup it up. I was so excited and shocked, because originally they told me about 6-8 weeks.
This again lines up with the rumors. A bit smaller, a bit more fastback looking, and similar in overall shape to the s197.
To the people complaining about it being to similar to the s197, do you want a generic sports car, or a Mustang? The overall shape of the s197 screams mustang, and if they...
Yes, each individual piece is patented, but the image of the car as a whole is not. Doesn't mean that you can't copy it, but sneaking a picture of it wouldn't be a crime. It's only legal contracts that may be affected.
Actually, a photo of the car would not be considered intellectual property since it's not patented, they could try to sue you though for possible profit loss through leaked secrets, but they can't throw you in jail for that. Yes you would most likely be fired, but that's about all they can do.
I really like the way you incorporated the roof line into the rear hips. It kind of makes it look like a super car. I really hope the real s550 looks like this.
Interesting, so with all the employees that work at FRAP, I would expect to see some leaked photos soon, not just renders and camo shots. 10 years ago when they were introducing the s197, not everyone had access to the internet so easily, nor did everyone have a nice camera in there pocket. Now...
I've always wondered about that. For prototypes and models before the official release, does Ford have a small secret build facility for that? Or do the general flatrock employees build the mules and prototypes.
He never said what kind of employee he was. Maybe he was a designer for a different line and they showed it to all the designers to show off that teams work? I don't know, that's just my guess. Employee reveal doesn't mean every Ford employee, maybe just his division. I believe him.
It was originally posted on a Ford insider website, than another Mustang6G member copied it here. I can't find the original, but here is the exact quote.
EDIT- I found the original.

Why would that mean that they're lying? That doesn't make any sense.
Also, he wasn't talking about the same exact car. There are plenty of ways that you can make a car look completely different while keeping the same overall shape.
