I was referring to those earlier leaks of the reported exact measurements of the car. Which involved taking IIRC 11 inches or more off of the length, and 4 or so inches off the width. Not going to happen.
I'm quite certain that it'll actually be slightly wider. At least in the rear. Every analysis I've done on my own of comparing the rear to a current 13 rear shows that the 15 will be slightly wider. (a few inches).
Plus, I believe that the earlier rumors of it being a lot smaller are total...
Different trims more than likely. Grills vary from package to package. I don't think the bars were part of the body design, more of the particular package that you can get.
The only time your wheel should be turned that much is if you're going 10mph or less, and at that point, I don't think you need to shift.
You're right that there are pros and cons to both, I would just prefer to have them on the wheel, so I could shift into a turn if I needed to without...
Agreed. A lot of people prefer them to be attached to the column, which means they don't rotate with the wheel. I don't get that at all, I would much prefer them to be attached to the wheel, so I can have muscle memory of where they are, and not have to adjust my grip as much to hit them.
No, but with the mirrors they have now, I don't have to turn my head, and I have a perfect image of my blindspot on my current mirror. It works great and I don't need a computer to tell me when to change lanes.
I'm kind of disappointed that they're getting rid of the blindspot mirror. I love those things. For some reason, i'll never be able to fully trust an automated system. I would much rather be old fashion with my blindspot mirrors then BLIS.
You can try to add the rear quarter window line also, in the spy shots with the camo, you could see it through one of the holes. Not sure if it was a fake or not, but it looked lower and had a more shallow angle to it.
They could make them heavier. Take the GT-R for example, if it was 100 pounds lighter, it would be slower. Weight isn't about getting it as light as possible, it's about a careful balance between horsepower, torque, and weight.
There was already a leak a while back from someone is a focus group saying that they were like nothing he's ever seen before. The rear is suppose to be the "highlight of the car". Don't worry, i"m sure Ford will take care of it.
