Another name for the company is CLDC, I would steer clear of them. I originally thought it was a US company, and only found out it was Chinese, when a money exchange charge showed up on my credit card a bit later. Looking over the model a little bit more, Windows are thin flexible plastic...
I’ll stick with my GT350R... I already have doubts a Ford dealer can fix it properly if I have any problems with it, because it’s not a standard stock GT. I fixed up an old Harley once, with engine mods, etc., and it’s not quite the same after that ... and it just tends to over complicate...
This blue Cobra knob just arrived (my car is kona blue, so it sort of matches)... I’ve got the red GR350 one on currently.
I only used one drop of blue loctite when putting the red one on, which should make changing them back and forth easy.
I bought a 2012 911 Turbo Cab (kept it for 6 yrs) and then my 2018 GT350R each off the showroom floor. Both cars were winners for me on 1st sight. And a quick serious commitment to purchase ultimately gave me good price reductions. It’s a fun way to go at car shopping.
Each time I was open to...
I took my GT350R to a local dealer today to have an oil and oil filter change at 950 mi. When I bought the car two months ago (at a different dealer) I paid for a 7 yr full service plan (and 7 yr extended warranty) on my car.
I personally didn't care if this first change was or was not...
I have a ctec unit that I used on a 911 for years... by connecting through the lighter/accessory plug (Seems like it can work on the Mustang the same way).
I just finished having a Gloss Black Vibe set with PS4’s put on my R (along with changing to a speeda clutch spring and installing splitter projection washers). Very happy to have all that finally completed.
I greatly appreciate this forum for all the help and information it provides.
This article made me ask myself “Where to get Motorcraft 5w50 online (by the case)?”
Rock Auto came up in a google search with the lowest price, but I know basically nothing of them.
A nice read for a new owner.
I have ordered one, but at the proof of the print stage I quickly noticed that the seats are not right for the 2018 GT 350 R, as the print has the GT 350 seats (i.e., with a white GT 350 logo). So basically they put a “R” spoiler on the back, a red badge on the front and called it a day...
Just picked up my GT350R from the detailer [Detail Athority, Fairfax VA] after Opti-Coat polishing and a Xpel clear film application.
Looks to be a fantastic job!
I purchased a 2018 GT 350 R about two weeks ago (in August 2018) from Ted Britt Ford (Chantilly VA). My car is Konno blue with stripe delete.
I was searching YouTube yesterday regarding GT350’s and I enjoyably happened to find a video of my car that was taken in April 2018 (when it had first...
At $11K, I’m not surprised that only 2 are available. Also not surprised, given the total number of 350R’s produced up to date, and the slim likelihood that at any time somebody would need a spoiler (to replace a damaged one).
I went to the Car lover diecast website, and noticed that they have a pre-order available for Nov 2018 on the 1968 bullit. [ACME 1:12 1968 Ford Mustang GT - BULLITT (Steve McQueen) resin]. Price is $389.95 (without shipping). Looks pretty nice...
