Sigh. There's a reason why they we giving politician answers to performance questions. This is on Ford. There's absolutely no reason that this car shouldn't be able to take a 1le. I'm starting to question if this will take a Boss.
The fun factor of the v8 or turbo will be better. Turbo 4 could have alot of potential with bolt ons. Savings in gas cancel out the regular gas for v6. And the sound of a v8 is intoxicating.
But these are just opinions man. Do what YOU feel is best and dont worry about other peoples opinions.
The dad of my sisters friend let me drive his GTR around the subdivision. Omg I was smiling ear to ear and laughed like a little kid when I gave it some gas. I would love to have one.
This. We are all fans of this car. But lets not turn this forum into Camaro5 where any criticism of the car is ban worthy. 435hp is good, but Ford implied much more than that with the 6 month long cocktease of specs.
After thinking about it, I guess 435 isn't bad. I just got caught up in the hype. I'm interested to see what the curves are like. The next frontier is track times and MPG.
With all this damage control right now, I'm thinking some of you bought Ford stock jeez.
Bottom line, they held specs out for this long because they knew it was nothing to write home about. No amount of damage control will change that fact.
So what is Fords excuse? How is Dodge able to come out with numbers, but Ford needs all this time? If they were coming out with new engine from scratch, it would be understandable but this is the same coyote with boss internals.
