I love these flyby's Chaz and nice work on the surface modeling of the sides. Those are some deep cuts you're representing...
I also noticed the top line goes right into the door handle. Nice touch.
Looong time owner. Excited and afraid of what they will do to it.... but thats no different than I've felt for each major redesign.
Ford will be happy to hear of many prospective first-time owners. It's what will keep the enthusiast base fresh and the car going for another half-century...
Awesome! If this is in fact the GT grille I will be very happy.
All it needs is a little more shine/reflection like your blue one. That one had a really nicely polished look.
Wooo I likey! These are even better than the original ones you did chaz.
Very interesting tail lights... definitely more "louvered" than I expected it to be, but the double bubble roof is pretty tame (that's a good thing IMO).
^^^ This x100
Well said. There's just certain things he wont be able to capture in his model but I bet the essence of the real thing is there in more or less final form. I'm assuming he worked on this for weeks not years like Ford has been. The real thing will be that much better.
I also...
Okay now show us that wind tunnel video :)
Seriously tho this looks like a base model or at most the GT, are they really still wind tunnel testing this. I would've thought that they are just dialing in the car at this point with all major testing out of the way.
I would be more than okay with this. If you rounded out the rear a bit it actually almost resembles an Aston Martin. That would be one sexy rear for sure.
From Hot Rod Magazine:
Talking with our friends at Ford, we were curious whether Ford’s Cobra Jet [CJ] program for Sportsman drag racing would continue into the new-generation Mustang that will be unveiled April, 2014. They have confirmed that development for a 2015 CJ is currently underway...
This isn't one of the countdown videos but thought I'd throw it in here.
very brief mention of the s550 around 3:15. man they sure are being tight lipped about this car. barely said much of anything except it will be uniquely Mustang.
Diggin' the white chaz! When all is said and done hopefully you can show us some different colors.
I came across this video from AM. Nice mention of the site and your renders on here... starting at 3:30... sh*t went viral!
The latest spy pics give a glimpse of the fogs.... although the DRL eyebrows are not visible in these (if they are even on there).
They didn't show much more other than those brakes but I'm looking foward to what u've got cooking next.
Thanks Jarstang. I, for one, can wait for better video.
I'm not sure what everyone is expecting to hear but I will bet money it just sounds like a deep throated V8.... not gonna sound like an exotic, no way no how.
I'm just afraid Ford is still stuck in the horsepower wars mentality where god forbid the next Mustang were to drop in power but have better (maybe less sexy) specs such as weight and more specifically power-to-weight.
We've all gotten so used to cars getting heavier with each year that we're...
It is fun to watch. This is really informative though, for real. Good stuff Pill.
I'm really curious how this is going to be implemented for the S550.
