Great - we're going to have an exhaust trading day on Saturday!
This is the standard Fox & Goose menu. I have asked them to add simple bacon or sausage rolls to this and they also offered bottomless cups of tea or coffee.
So far on the list as definite or maybe:
Me
Hammer Time...
Yeah I think I am over multi-storeys in this car. The good news is, the average unthinking parker goes straight for the shortest walk to destination. Search around and there's usually something much better a bit further away. You'll find all the exotics down the far corner of my local Sainsbury's :D
I had an experience like that recently in a private underground car park. Decided to reverse out of it - and that's where the reverse camera really came into its own. The worst bit is not being able to see low curbs. I still had to get out & check a couple of times as the nose came round!
I haven't bothered much with the 70 thing :D or the cruise control because I find it fiddly to operate. (Why does it need six buttons?)
I don't think the GT is much less economical whether you are doing 70 or 80 anyway. But it's way better than expected!
Hi Graham,
You must be doing a lot of time in traffic surely?
BTW are you coming to our breakfast meeting this Saturday? http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46122
Thought I'd just stick my current calculation in. I got through 50.93 litres doing 280.4 miles between fills. That was a 230 mile trip from Essex up to Silverstone (mostly A roads) and back (M1, M25, A12) plus a couple of demo runs for friends and short trips into town.
Trip computer showed...
Yup, me too, and I have had it on a couple of other stretches of road too. On that bit of the M25 a lot of people used to drive at around 100mph until they put the cameras in :tsk: I think at the problem is as much because you are pinned to a specific speed. I don't think it was as bad before...
Wish I could have been there. Really nice to see some great classics and other Stangs too. I can only hope some of you will make it to Essex next week :)
