Like its predecessor the 3.5L EcoBoost, this second-generation 2.7L EcoBoost dynamo achieves great low-end torque and capability combined with efficiency, bringing EcoBoost technology to a new level. The compacted graphite iron block is extremely strong. It’s the same material we use in the...
There are always a few drag guys out there that don't like boost or nitrous. They seem to want to do things the very hardest way. NA rev it to the moon clutch drops. Then to fix traction issues just means throw some slicks on it. When the stock parts start to break best way to fix them is...
Haha yeah I didn't mention the lost of power and control was killing me driving a malibu. I have several 10k plus road trips in my Raptor. I've been waiting way to long to pull the trigger on a new mustang can't wait to order my 2015.
No the automatic is the same tranny as last year only change is instead of manual mode and having a toggle switch on the shifter they now have paddles. In this interview above they said no launch control on the automatic. Oh they did mention that with the new paddles the automatic will get rev...
I spent the money on the full electronics package on my Raptor and will never go back. I don't use it to actually get directions most of the time. Things I use all the time is the automatic temp control, being able to look at the live map at anytime, being able to look up the next gas station...
Yeah I'm not one of those guys that weight means everything to me. I guess the power seats in my Raptor are more of hassle and the heated part of them have spoiled me. I was just hoping Recaros with the option of heated and/or cooled would be offered. My Raptor seats hug and hold me in...
I don't think its standard. If you get a base model Mustang or Mustang GT. I don't think you will get MFT or the toggle switches. MFT might be standard in the premium models though.
Why do you need a heavy motor for power seats in a Mustang? I don't see the need for power seats but then again I don't have other people driving my vehicles. The power moving seats in my Raptor are annoying sometimes. They don't always return to where they need to be. Now the heated part of...
Yeah it for sure sounds like it has an x-pipe on it. Has anyone seen any of them run other than the red GT? I wonder if that is the one from the Need For Speed movie. Maybe it has after market exhaust. I sure hope not but everyone likes their own sound. To me if it actually sounds like that...
Just looking on ford.com at the new f150 found this interesting when it comes to what the Raptor might have in it engine wise.

I can't wait to see what they do with the new Raptor. I love mine except the mpg. Wonder if ford has something new planned for it maybe the new 5.8 or 5.2.
