I replaced the shitty factory lead/acid battery we get in our Mustangs with an AGM. I have a Blackvue 900s 2 channel 4k and in parking mode it will run for about 3 days before cutting off. Ditch the factory batter for an AGM and your problems will go away.
I installed it with a buddy who works at a GM dealer haha. After hours pulled it in and we installed it then did the alignment right there. So install was really cheap lol
I swapped my 19 GT out recently to a group 47 AGM and it literally sat for an hour with no battery and I had no issues with anything. I had to redo my radio stations but that's it.
I'm not looking for 24 hours. It's just the factory batteries are the cheap crappy non AGM batteries that are garbage. Even an Optima is 10 times better but they don't make any that "fit" the mustangs.
I don't like those external batteries and they're expensive as hell for something that only runs a dash cam. Plus you have to hide it somewhere in the interior and I would rather avoid all that. There are better car batteries out there that handle High Drain\Duty Cycle but finding one that fits...
