I've noticed my backup camera going wonky or total black when I'm leaving work. I assumed it was heat. Leaving the car parked in the sun all day. As the temps heat up, I'll be keeping an eye on it.
I think I've seen some threads about this. I have the same car and have also found it to be tricky to shift. I haven't driven a stick in about 10 years though. I think that a lot of people remove some sort of spring. I haven't tried it yet, as I'm just trying to get used to it/figure it out...
I've researched this one a lot. Many folks say yes, that's what you get with Brembo's. I think I've come to the conclusion that you have to drive a bit more aggressive than I'm used to in my old car. Rather than gliding to stops all the time, these brakes light it a bit rough.
I hate to admit it, but I'm probably part of the problem. I've been driving regular boring cars for over 20 years, and most of my driving is in traffic. Lots of smooth gradual braking. I'll try to drive less like a grandpa!
That's promising. Maybe I just need to try the rebedding to see what that does. It seems absurd that some are saying that this is just something you have to deal with on brakes like this. I hope that's not the case anyway.
I've got a 2015 PP as well, and I've been having the Brembo's squeal off and on since I got it last fall. This is one of my major pet peeves, so I need to figure out something. It sounds like re-bedding them might work for a bit (assuming they were bedded in properly to start with), but that...
I've got a 15gtpp, stock, and am thinking about trying out the local autocross one of these weekends. A friend of mine said that it would be a good way to learn more about what my car can do. I've never done anything like that, so does anyone have any advice or tips? I've got a manual 6...
Weird. My first attempt at this whole issue was loading mp3's onto a usb flash drive and using the port in the box between the seats. It was much quieter than the radio as well for me. Hmm.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is this basically saying that those of us with older sync versions (mine is a 2015, so I believe it's sync 2) can get the head unit to have carplay? It sounds like the only mod would be to change out the usb hub for iPhones? If so, why do you need the...
So I tried the first simple fix. I turned up my volume on my phone and then drove home. Same results. Very quiet. I stopped and opened up the phone, but the volume adjustment isn't even available when plugged in via usb. So much for the easy fix.
Someone mentioned that the engineers may...
I have also been wondering what the order of priority might be in replacing things to improve quality. It sounds like it might be...
1. Center Speaker replacement
2. Head Unit replacement
3. Various other speaker replacements/add amp etc.
Of course my first step is to see if the volume on...
Very nice. I really like the black roof. I haven't seen that much. I have a yellow 15gt, and it also has black accents and emblems. I almost got an orange one, but I had a yellow '67 back in the day so I really wanted this new triple yellow for old times sake.
Yeah, I was bummed to find out how bad the bluetooth quality sounds. USB is much better, but for me it's still about half as loud as just plain radio for some reason.
I have experienced the same thing with the file quality. This was my original intent on using Apple Music. It's supposed...
Interesting that you haven't had the same experience. I'll look at the volume on my iPhone, but I think I've tried that and it didn't have any affect on the volume when plugged in via USB. I'm almost sure I tried this when I was using Bluetooth. I was excited to not have to mess with my...
Ok, so last fall I bought a used (6k miles) s550. I haven't gone to a ford dealer to get a build sheet, but from what I can tell, this thing has the premium speaker set up. I do have the trunk sub, and it says Shaker below the controls.
Ideally, I would like to listen to music stored on my...
I bought a used 15GT PP last fall, and I've driven it about every day since, through the winter here in Idaho. I actually didn't think I would like the Mustang for a daily, as I had rented a Camaro a few years back and felt like it swallowed me up. Granted, that one must have been a v6 is it...
Daily driver here. I had to get a set of winter tires due to my summer only tires. It’s made my commute a lot more fun and I don’t really have so much extra cash or space that I can just leave a car sitting around.
