1 July, mine was scheduled to be built later (August/September) however Ford discontinued Deep Impact Blue from 3 July (MY17 cars) and my delivery (and build) was moved forward. So I think that explains why I have the number 2, for a July build car.
Wold be interesting to see if any other...

Thanks for the advise everyone, I've given the scratch a good clean (haven't polished the area yet), it's a little better but it feels like the plastic has been dented.
Driving to work yesterday on the Bruce Hwy and the car in the lane next to me flicked up what I think was a piece of a truck tyre retread and ended up with the following damage on the bottom plastic panel in front of the rear wheel.
The scratch/mark is about an inch long and I can feel it...
I've only done 844km and the car is indicated 12.4 Lts/100km with and average speed of 38km/h.
Filled it up for the second time last night and showing 525km out of a full tank.
I have a GT Auto , daily drive in peak hour with 60% of my drive in 60 km or less zones and the other 40% in 80-100...
Have a very close look at the rear bumper gap, between the bumper and the rear panels (both sides). You can also feel the un-even/ rough edge.
It's not a big issue and you can't see it from a distance (unless the light is right).
I've been told that the dealers are providing Ford AU head...
Checked out 6 cars at a dealership today (mix of 16s/17s, Ecoboosts/GTs and Fastbacks/ Convertibles) of various colours that are scheduled to be deliveried over the next few days and all 6 had the same paint issues.
Make sure you look closely and if possible have a look at your car under...
I know how you feel, I'm a bit disappointed that mine has a some paint inperfections that should have been picked up by the dealership, but once I'm driving it I forget about them and enjoy the fact that I'm driving a Mustang.
