With my Steeda progressive springs I went to a quality alignment business.
They had to put some alignment bolt of some sort on the front.
All is within spec and handles like a dream.
I have the 555-8208 and the handing is amazing!
Got rid of the garbage Pirelli's and put on Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires and the car is glued
to the road!
Mine worked fine with my escort 8500.
You may have to unplug the connector from the back of the mirror to make sure you get the wire tap under the metal of the connector.
I have the Kooks with the perfomance cats coupled to the Solo Mach XV exhaust.
Yes it necks down to the solo exhaust but the sound and perfomance is awesome as I plan to stay NA.
My Kooks cost me $1,000 by a race shop. They put the locking tabs on every bolt to boot.
No issues and to me the price was okay. After installing my Steeda springs I knew there was no way I'd tackle the headers.
Mine are catted and coupled to Solo Mach XV and I get a lot of compliments on the...
If you're connecting the mach xv to the stock headers it sounds good.
When I put my Kooks headers on it now sounds awesome. I get compliments from strangers that my exhaust sounds great. :D
I switch my pirellis to these after 5k, had the contis on for 2k and they were too soft in the corners so I went with the MPSS.
Yes they cost more but do it right the first time in my opinion. Lesson learned! :D
I had the Ford x pipe and wasn't happy with the sound so I went with Solo Mach xv.
That sounded good but it got better with headers.
Love my Kooks!
Sorry for the pic.
I struggled with that in the begining and in the end after spening this much money on this car I thought I would do it right with long tube headers.
The sound and power is worth every penny.
I get a lot of compliments on the car and sound!
I went with Kooks as they had no fitment issues.
The high performance shop I used to install them said that the fit and finish was best they seen.
I have the Solo Mach XV as well and the sound is amazing and I get a lot complements.
Get a hold of Brandon at Maryland Speed for the best price...
Finally, got it fixed. With headers the right was too long, had to cut a 1/4 inch on the front and back of the muffler on the right side. Was perfect with the stock headers but with the Kooks headers had to be cut. All is good now! :D
