Yup, took three times to get this right but the updated replacement has worked like a champ the past 3-4 months with no issues in the summer heat. Being able to run the beautiful 4100-NEX made the hassle worth it.
I went with this lip spoiler too and I think it accentuates the front bumper perfectly. But man with steeda springs it scrapes on damn near any type of incline lol. Build quality is fantastic though and the scrapes are not in a place that can be seen even when you get low and try to look under it.
Dude Diamond Audio was fantastic. I bought two Diamond M6 old school 10's from the early 2000's and I was blown away with how hard they hit and how accurate they were. In a prefab vented box on a JBL BP1200.1, it was one of the best bang for buck setups I've ever had. Paid $250 for the subs and...
Nice well it's going to be bad ass when it's done right especially on magnetic. I bought an unpainted one too but it didn't come with grilles so I decided against paying $400+ for abs plastic and went with a Cervinis lip spoiler that scrapes on the slightest of inclines. It's maddening. I'm...
Basically the processor will provide a pure, clean signal to your amps so you can EQ and dial in the sound precisely the way you want to hear it. Without one, you will be at the mercy of the stock head units factory settings which literally limits the bass at higher volumes to supposedly protect...
Soundqubed is definitely a brand worth looking into, their HDC3 subs are no joke for the price ($239 shipped!). Good luck fitting a serious Sundown sub into the Zenclosures box, I got one and that bitch is shalllooowwww. Couldn't use it for my IDMax 12's. Incidentally, you can buy it cheap from...
Yeah there's a substantial difference in clarity but like you said, you only listen to music so loud. I'm not a necessarily a stickler for super pure unadulterated sound like some. I just want it to sound good and bang to a decent extent. With your current setup, I'd enjoy the hell out of it and...
I just switched to IDMax 12's in a sealed box, I had sundown x8's before that. Actually in the shop right now getting this updated Scosche dash kit to hopefully work with my Pioneer double din.
Car is lower now with the Steeda Pro-Actions. 305/30/20 rear, they tuck nicely. Still have a lot of traction left but next time I'll see how much wider of a tire I can fit. 20x10 275/30 fronts.
So in this case you wouldn't be concerned with bass roll off from the factory head unit? On a side note, I dont think the factory speakers are horrible at all for what they are. The base system just needs some low end, OP may be pleasantly surprised. On my 2008 GT, I just added subs and an amp...
Roush will have a better front end ready before the car is even available to the public. Two other high profile aftermarket companies are working on one as we speak as well. Not a big deal. Other than the front, I have no complaints. There is no way the GT isn't going to be blistering quick plus...
VR work, oh that must be a blast. Perplexing and challenging I'm sure but what an exciting field and lucrative I hope. If your travels bring you to the Detroit area, let me know first rounds on me!
Thank you for the advice. I'm going to enjoy the car this summer and not worry about any more engine work until later this year most likely. It's a great kit and it's driving magnifcently well so far. No reason to force the issue. By the time it's ready to go in for upgrades, I should have the...
Cheers and congrats bro. A saleen is simply off of most peoples radar. I wish them a healthy recovery as they have been the car of my dreams since the late 90's. Everyone always wants to kick a dog when its down. Supercharge that bad boy and shut everyone the f up.
YESSSSSSSSS a badass 5 spoke, Carlos you guys are killing it!! The spokes look magnificent, 3 layers of sexy and they're gonna show off big brake kits quite well :eyebulge:
