  1. Vibration under car

Thank you. I think it’s more coming from around somewhere behind the engine.
  2. Vibration under car

Yes they did check those. Perhaps the lugging is normal.
  3. Vibration under car

If I force the car into a stall backing up or going forward it sounds like something is loose or vibrating until the car gets under way or stalls out. I’ve had the exhaust and heat shields checked and they are all secured. Same for the belly pans at the front and back. Did I read long ago...
  4. Loose hose into valve cover

No idea what the former owner did or did not do. I’ve owned the car for a handful of weeks now.
  5. Loose hose into valve cover

Thanks all. Dropped into ford and they confirmed the play in it.
  6. Loose hose into valve cover

The black hose is tight on the blue piece. It’s the blue piece that is loose that goes inside the cover. Are you saying the loose piece is fine?
  7. Loose hose into valve cover

I was going to install a catch can and notice that the blue fitting going into the cover floats around an bit and isn’t tight. Is this ok?
  8. Misfiring on 3 cylinders

back again guys unfortunately. Purge valve, plugs, changed. Tried different fuel. No codes. Doesn’t seem to be misfiring as much but occasionally at a stop, clutch in, engine warm the idle drops momentarily Out there question but is there any way it could be the aluminum flywheel and...
  9. Cleaning stripes and exhaust tips.

Brass wool on the stripes? That seems like it would scratch them. They seem pretty unforgiving
  10. Cleaning stripes and exhaust tips.

Thank you all. Tips are looking great. Still struggling with bringing the stripes back.
  11. Misfiring on 3 cylinders

Seems the plugs weren’t gapped properly or had changed overtime. All new plugs so peace of mind and hopefully the idle will be stable. thank you for everyone’s help.
  12. Misfiring on 3 cylinders

    No thank goodness.
  13. Misfiring on 3 cylinders

No its stock and no tune.
  14. Misfiring on 3 cylinders

Thank you. I think it shows up in the same 3 cylinders. I’ll change the fuel if we start hitting a dead end.
  15. Misfiring on 3 cylinders

At idle after warm up the idle stumbles and recovers. Went for a drive and Ford tech was able to see the misfires on a graph on his laptop. The purge valve was not functioning so that was replaced previously. interesting. I’ve been running chevron 94. I can’t believe it would create...
  16. Misfiring on 3 cylinders

It was a long block warranty replacement at a different dealer. Not all on the same bank. I was thinking switching the coils around. I’ll mention about the cam timing thank you.
  17. Misfiring on 3 cylinders

Hi. I have a 2022 built Gen 2 that has about 5k on it in a 2017 350. There are intermittent misfires on 3 cylinders but not throwing any codes. The Ford tech is going to try plugs but are there any other known things that he should try?
  18. Stumbling idle

That’s really flopping. I’ll check the throttle body thank you
  19. Stumbling idle

2017 as well. My understanding is that when they replaced it with a Gen 2 they reuse some of the upper parts of the Gen 1 so possibly it’s some quirk of the 2017.
  20. Stumbling idle

Thank you. That sounded to be very frustrating. Mine isn’t stumbling to a point of stalling and there aren’t any codes. It basically drops a few rpms and goes back up. I’ll bring your cause up to the dealer. Mines a Gen 2 so hopefully it’s nothing significant.
